The company started a popular mail order catalog in 1963 and today markets globablly through additional e-commerce, employee incentive, and foodservice distribution channels.

Moving in New Directions
Omaha Steaks had previously implemented a payments processing software package—the product proved unreliable and uncovered the need for a more scalable solution backed by solid customer service. In 2002, Omaha Steaks began searching for a more robust payment processing solution to support their growing mail order business and facilitate expansion into new delivery channels. The chosen software would run on the company’s existing AS/400 infrastructure and provide transaction authorization functionality that could easily interface to a blend of custom-developed and third-party order fulfillment applications.

Once Omaha Steaks implemented ISD software, the company drastically reduced transaction processing times over the phone and online.
