Arthur Roldan, Executive Chairman, Art is a seasoned technology entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in the software industry. Most recently Art was the CEO of SecurePipe before to its acquisition by TrustWave in December 2006. While at SecurePipe, Art led an impressive transformation of the technology service firm into a leading provider of managed network security services. In four years, Art directed the broadening of service offerings, the development of alternate distribution channels, and the expansion of the company’s client base to over 1,000 clients, resulting in four consecutive years of 65%+ revenue growth. Prior to joining SecurePipe, Art was the president and CEO of Novarra, a wireless software company and raised $30,000,000 in venture capital within an 18-month period. Drawing on his experience and leadership, Novarra grew from a seed start up of three to a mature team of sixty professionals that developed cutting-edge products and acquired blue chip customers and strategic partners. Prior to joining Novarra, Roldan was president and CEO of The Premisys Corp., a leading sales engineering automation software company. Under Roldan’s leadership, the company’s revenue doubled in the year prior to its acquisition by J.D. Edwards (Oracle). Art’s considerable experience with growing other start-up companies has resulted in their acquisition by public companies. Art is a board member of the Illinois Technology Association and has been recognized in Crain’s Internet 100 Executives. He is also a sought after speaker for the entrepreneur programs at Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and the MBA program at The University of Chicago. Art began his career at IBM and holds a BS in business administration from DePaul University.
Kevin Potrzeba, Vice President of Sales, brings over 20 years of software sales management experience to ISD. Most recently, Kevin was VP of Worldwide Sales for Interface Software, a leading provider of enterprise CRM solutions. He rapidly grew sales during his tenure and Interface was acquired by Lexis Nexis. Prior to Interface, Kevin was the VP of North American Sales for Showcase Corporation, an analytics solutions company where he led annual sales growth of over 75% for 4 consecutive years. Showcase was acquired by analytics solutions leader SPSS, Inc. where Kevin served as VP of North American sales. Kevin’s background also includes 9 years of service at enterprise software pioneer Software AG and time spent with Computer Associates.
Gino Puzzuoli, Vice President of Business Development, brings over 20 years of technology experience in the retail and payment industries to his role at ISD. His previous positions spanned business development, sales, marketing, and product management. Gino spent 7 years as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for an electronic payment processing software firm and served on the management teams of Canada-based NOVA Expertise Solutions and Allinson-Ross Corporation. He has a strong reputation for building and maintaining stable, mutually beneficial business relationships with partners across the electronic payments industry.
Al Sturdivant, Vice President of Professional Services, brings over 28 years of technology experience to ISD, including 16 years building and managing world class professional services organizations. For 12 of these years, Al held senior leadership positions in the payment software business, including VP of Professional Services and Customer Support for S2 Systems, Director of Professional Services and Support for Verifone and SVP of Services and Technology for Gemplus, a world leader in smartcard technologies.
Mark Lackner, Vice President of Engineering, is responsible for all development, quality assurance and system infrastructure activities. Mark has over 18 years of experience with ISD in design and delivery of high-volume payment systems. Mark has performed and managed several delivery functions while with ISD including development, quality assurance, product management, project management, installation services and customer support. Most recently Mark was Director of Development at ISD.
Bruce Venema, CPA, Vice President of Finance, comes to ISD Corporation with over 20 years of experience in corporate financial management. Bruce's background includes a combination of industry experience and time spent working in professional services firms. He started his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche, then joined the professional services firm of Plante & Moran. During his 9 year tenure at Plante he provided audit and management consulting services to numerous organizations, instituting financial management best practices across all accounting and finance functions. Bruce has also served in industry as a Corporate Controller and CFO in each case leveraging technology to reduce costs and improve business processes.
