Settlement Suite
The ISD Settlement Suite electronically transmits transaction data to a merchant's bank for enterprise-wide settlement and reconciliation. Online settlement screens, reports, and other unique system features allow better tracking if bankcard rejects or charge backs occur, and provide merchants with faster funds availability. The ISD Settlement Suite also supports corporate purchase card Level II/Level III compliance standards.

ISD Settlement Engine: The ISD Settlement Engine provides three settlement methods including a unique hybrid settlement option which combines the best features of Host and Terminal Capture. The ISD Settlement Suite allows merchants to select from the following settlement options:
- Host Capture: To perform Host Capture settlement, the ISD Settlement Engine captures the authorization information necessary to perform settlement using a master settlement file—the information is captured and maintained at the host level without having to poll store-level files. Host Capture is an efficient method for controlling inaccuracies and reconciliation challenges, especially if a merchant has encountered store to host network connectivity issues.
- Terminal Capture: When Terminal Capture is the chosen form of settlement, all data required for settlement is stored at the store level point-of-sale. The ISD Settlement Engine utilizes this data to build a master settlement file. The settlement data can be retrieved either by integrating into the merchant's existing polling system, or via special transaction records that are sent up in one or more batches over the course of a day. Terminal Capture provides the most accurate source for settlement data and requires a merchant's point-of-sale system to save responses and support future changes for rate category compliance.
- Hybrid Capture: Similar to Host Capture, ISD's Hybrid Capture method captures all authorization messages at the host level. The ISD Payment Switch then polls the store level POS for a skeleton set of data or "trigger" file that effectively updates the host file with store/terminal level data. Using Hybrid Capture, a merchant's point-of-sale system does not have to maintain authorization responses or undergo changes to ensure rate category compliance.
